These homeowners in Mountain Home were looking for a vapor barrier for their crawl space when they found CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas. We sent one of our Design Specialists out to inspect their crawl space and visit with them about their concerns. They decided they wanted a complete encapsulation with the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, WallCaps, and an EverLast Door.
Our crew started by grading and prepping the space, allowing the dimpled Drainage Matting to be laid directly on the dirt floor. Vents were sealed with our SilverGlo Vent Seals, preventing outside air from entering, and the EverLast Door was custom cut on site to further insulate the space. The CleanSpace Liner is then installed, it completely and permanently isolates the home from the earth. WallCaps were installed to prevent outside air and moisture from coming in through the tops of the block walls. These clear, L shaped moldings seal off the opening between the sill plate and the rest of your crawl space. A SaniDry Sedona will remove any moisture in the air, keeping your crawl space at around 55% humidity.
This home is now cleaner, drier, healthier, and more structurally sound! Call CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas today to schedule your crawl space inspection, 1-501-329-4000!

A Judsonia resident called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas when their vapor barrier deteriorated. Most vapor barriers are thin plastic sheeting and will deteriorate when exposed to the conditions in your crawl space.
When installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation System, one of the key steps is the Drainage Matting. The dimples on the bottom facilitate ground water drainage to run towards the perimeter drainage system. Drainage Matting provides a thermal break, softens the floor, and increases durability. When the CleanSpace Liner is installed, no water will sit between the Drainage Matting and the Liner, helping to ensure no mold can grow and the home is isolated from the earth. A sump pump to remove ground water and a dehumidifier to remove moisture from the air fully encapsulates the space, creating a cleaner, healthier environment.
