The crawl space backed up to their basement, and they really wanted to finish their basement. Our System Design Specialist, Michael, came out to inspect the crawl space and help them find a solution that would keep their crawl space, basement, and home cleaner, drier, and healthier! We installed a SmartSump and drainage matting to help this customer with their wet crawl space. 

Client inquired about our service regarding water leaks in the crawl space and a musty odor creeping up into the home, from the crawl space area. Our Design Specialist determined that the best thing for this area and homeowner was to do a full Encapsulation of the space. 

Our crew began by removing the old, damp insulation, then we placed Drainage Matting, which was placed under our 20 mil CleanSpace liner to protect the home from the ground and any moisture that may seep into the area. We replaced the old insulation with our SilverGlo Wall insulation. To further protect from more moisture getting into the area by placing vent covers on all the vents that let humidity in, and finally, we installed a new SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier helps control the humidity in the space and keeps it at or below 55%, which is ideal to keep moisture out. 

This home is now protected from outside humidity and is much cleaner and healthier than before.
