We sent Thomas and his crew to the investment property to begin the project. They began by removing the old, ruined insulation from the floor joists. Jack had identified the areas that needed additional support with our SmartJacks, and the areas that needed to be reinforced with additional beams. Once the structural support portion was completed, the crew sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals. They graded the crawl space, and the piers were wrapped with Wallie, a 12-mil thick white laminated liner to prevent condensation from forming. This liner is designed to reduce the effects of humidity on masonry, it stops the concrete from sweating. The Drainage Matting was installed, creating a durable, puncture resistant base and adding a thermal break, allowing ground water to flow beneath. Encapsulation with CleanSpace Liner brightens the space and isolates your home from the earth completely and permanently. This liner is 20 mil thick, made of a blend of high- and low-density polyethylene with two layers of polyester cord reinforcement.
