This client had a slight humidity problem and simply wanted to be able to use their crawl space for storage purposes. Dillion and his crew installed a full encapsulation system.
For that encapsulation system, the crew installed a CleanSpace liner with Drainage Matting underneath, along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to bring the humidity in the space at or below 55%. This space now a clean, dry area for the client to have that storage they were wanting, as well as bringing the humidity under control.

Moisture in your crawl space can be a huge problem. These lakeside homeowners in Hot Springs Village wanted to eliminate the moisture and musty smell in the lower level of their home that was coming from their crawl space. One of our Design Specialists drove out to visit with the homeowners and inspect the crawl space.
It was found that the crawl space would need a complete encapsulation with a dehumidifier. Our crew, led by Justin Reaves, started by removing the insulation from the floor joists and grading the crawl space for drainage. The vents were sealed with SilverGlo Vent Seals, while Drainage Matting was installed on the dirt floor as a thermal break. The Drainage Matting is dimpled, allowing water to flow beneath it, preventing ground water from rising to the top. This laid the foundation for the CleanSpace Liner to be installed, giving the bright white finish to the crawl space, completely and permanently isolating the home from the earth. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier completes the encapsulation process, removing moisture from the air at a rate of up to 100 pints per day.
These homeowners can now enjoy every level of their lakeside home with no moisture and no musty smell. Call 1-501-329-4000 and see how we can help you!
