The client inquired about what they could do to remove quite a bit of excess moisture, along with some standing water, in their crawl space area. We quickly scheduled them to have one of our System Design Specialists to come out and come up with a system designed to get all of the water issues solved. We then had one of our installation crews install a SmartSump crawl space drainage system, our CleanSpace Drainage Matting, and one of our EverLast crawl space doors.
The Smart Sump system and Drainage Matting helped solve the problem with standing water, while the EverLast door will help to prevent any further excess moisture from seeping into the area.
This homeowner in Roland bought the home as an investment property and knew from the inspection there was standing water, a crumbling vapor barrier, and possibly some mold in the crawl space. He called the professionals at CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas to get a free estimate. Craigen, one of our Design Specialists, knew this home needed a full crawl space encapsulation.
Justin and his installation crew removed all the old wet insulation and vapor barrier. They graded the crawl space, directing ground water to flow to the perimeter of the space. Wrapping the piers in Wrappie allows for all condensation that would normally form on masonry to flow below the Drainage Matting, installed to provide a drainage space and a thermal break. The bright white CleanSpace Liner is installed to isolate the home from the earth, reducing humidity in the crawl space. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, able to pull up to one hundred pints of moisture out of the air, is the final step in this encapsulation system.
The crawl space is cleaner, drier, and healthier for the homeowner and its new residents. Call CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas today!

This crawl space needed a complete encapsulation to protect the home from the damaging effects of moisture. Justin and his crew started by removing debris and grading the crawl space. They removed all the batted insulation and installed Vent Seals to block outside air from entering the crawl space. A thermal break comes in the form of our Drainage Matting, increasing durability and providing puncture resistance. Isolating the home from the earth completely is our CleanSpace Liner. This liner is 20-mils thick and is tear resistant, almost like a pool liner. A SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was added, not only removing humidity, but helping the homeowner save on his electricity costs over the years.
A CleanSpace Encapsulation helps insulate your crawl space as well as protect it and your home from harmful moisture and humidity.
