The installation crew started by cleaning and grading the crawl space and removing the insulation from walls and floor joists. They installed a CleanSpace SmartDrain with the WaterWatch Alarm in the lowest point in the crawl space. Graphite infused SilverGlo Insulation Panels were installed to insulate the walls and seal the vents. Piers were wrapped with Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner, to prevent condensation on the masonry, and the Drainage Matting was installed to direct all water to SmartDrain. Drainage Matting adds durability and a thermal break. Encapsulation would not be complete without the 20-mil thick CleanSpace Liner, completely isolating your home from the earth.
