As a crawl space repair company, we travel the state to serve our customers. This homeowner in Pine Bluff contacted us with some questions about standing water in their crawl space. A wet crawl space can lead to mold and rot, both of which can put you and your family in harms way. Jack, our Design Specialist, inspected the crawl space and the homeowner agreed a crawl space encapsulation was the right move.
Bryan’s crew removed debris and graded the crawl space, including filling in holes. The SmartSump Sump Pump was installed, and piers were wrapped with our 12-mil thick Wallie liner. SilverGlo VentSeals were put up, made from graphite infused SilverGlo Insulation boards, and Drainage Matting put down to direct ground water flow towards the sump pump. The CleanSpace liner is installed right on top of the Drainage Matting to isolate the home from the earth, and the two products together to reduce humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. The pint sized powerhouse, the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, removes moisture from the air and moves air at a rate of 300 cubic feet of air per minute. This dries the building materials and makes that damp feeling in your home go away. An EverLast Door was customized on site, and the EverLast Access Well was installed to prevent water from entering the crawl space.

Jordan and his crew installed a SmartSump, which is a high-quality crawl space sump system. It includes a perforated sump liner, a reliable pump, an alarm system, and an airtight lid with a floor drain. The crew made sure that they isolated the home from the earth by installing CleanSpace Liner. CleanSpace has multiple layers and is puncture and tear resistant. It also contains an antimicrobial additive, which prevents mold growth on the liner. The bright white color of CleanSpace dramatically transforms the crawl space into a healthy, usable area. The final step was to keep the air dry by installing two of our SaniDry Sedona Systems. The SaniDry is a high-capacity, high-efficiency dehumidification system. It’s also an air filtration system, filtering particles out of the air to less than two microns in size. The SaniDry keeps the building materials dry, making the damp smell and feeling go away.
