Crawl Space Repair in Little Rock
This Little Rock homeowner wanted some help in her tall crawl space. She shared her concerns with our Design Specialist, Jack, when he came out to inspect her crawl space. Jack inspected the crawl space, and one of his suggestions was the SmartSump Sump Pump. Our SmartSump Sump Pump is installed in the lowest point of the crawl space. The installation team digs a hole deep enough that the top rim of the sump pump liner is even with the ground. The liner of the SmartSump is designed to allow room for the 1/3 hp Zoeller pump and the optional UltraSump battery back-up pump. The lid of the sump pump fits securely on the liner and holds an air-tight floor drain and the WaterWatch Alarm. The WaterWatch Alarm is designed to alert the homeowner to water on the lid. This can be from a plumbing leak or a pump or power failure. The homeowners choice to have the SmartSump Sump Pump installed in her crawl space will help keep her home dry and more structurally sound.

Crawl Space Repair North Little Rock
This North Little Rock resident called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas because she noticed a bad smell coming from her crawl space. Upon further investigation, they realized the crawl space had standing water in it, and they wanted to get it repaired to help get rid of the smell. Craigen, one of our Design Specialists, went out to do what he does best! He presented a solution that would eliminate the smell and the standing water, while ensuring it wouldn't happen again.
Jordan and his crew started by grading and prepped the crawl space. This directs water towards the perimeter of the home, where they installed our Ez Flow Drainage System. This system collects water and drains it into the TripleSafe Sump Pump, installed in the lowest point of the crawl space. The TripleSafe Sump Pump has three pumps and an alarm system, so you will know if something isn't working the way it should. A drainage line was dug in the yard to allow water to drain safely into the LawnScape Outlet, away from the home. The crew custom cut EverLast Doors for both of the crawl space entrances and installed SilverGlo Vent Seals. The dimpled Drainage Matting was laid on the graded surface, allowing water to flow beneath to the drainage system and the 20-mil thick bright white CleanSpace Liner was installed and secured, isolating the home from the earth. A SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to remove moisture from the air and circulate dry air at a rate of up to 300 cubic feet per minute.
The smell is gone, the water is gone, and all that's left is a cleaner, drier, healthier home. Call 1-501-329-4000 and find out how we can make your home a healthy home from the ground up!
Ez Flow to SmartSump in Little Rock
This Little Rock homeowner discovered some standing water in his crawl space, so he called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas. We inspected the crawl space and recommended the Ez Flow Drainage System to remove excess water in addition to a CleanSpace Encapsulation and SmartSump Sump Pump.
The Ez Flow Drainage System is designed just for crawl spaces. It is a 3-inch slotted pipe, surrounded by polystyrene aggregate and enclosed in a geotextile mesh. The aggregate and mesh work together as a filter to keep sediment and debris from entering the pipe. Our crews install Ez Flow by first digging a trench around the perimeter of the crawl space. The trench is wide enough and deep enough for the drainage system to sit below the footer to ensure there is no standing water in the crawl space. The trench is sloped towards the sump pump so ground water can be pumped out. The owner wanted to make sure no water would reenter the crawl space because of a blocked discharge line, so IceGuard was installed as well as the LawnScape Outlet, carrying the water away from the home.
Standing water in a crawl space can lead to mold, mildew, and rot. Our Ez Flow Drainage System combined with a full CleanSpace Encapsulation System will keep your crawl space dry, leading to a healthier home. Call CrawlSpace Solutions today!
SmartJacks and Encapsulation in Little Rock
Homeowners all around the Little Rock area and beyond have trusted CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas to ensure their crawl spaces are clean and dry, and they trust us to support their homes as well. Over time, the ground beneath your home can shift, causing the supports of your home to sink. SmartJack Steel Piers are designed to stop settling and keep your home on secure footing for years to come.
In this home, the humidity and moisture in the crawl space had caused structural support issues. Our team of professionals cleaned and graded the crawl space and began insulating the walls with SilverGlo Insulation Panels. Then they dug and leveled a footing for each SmartJack Steel Pier. The SmartJack is cut to the necessary size and installed under the sagging floor. Each SmartJack is individually adjustable so they can be set to varying heights according to the needs in your crawl space. Once the SmartJacks are installed, it is time to isolate the home from the earth. Each pier is wrapped, and the Drainage Matting is installed to allow ground water and condensation from walls to run below it. This keeps the CleanSpace Liner dry. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier is installed to keep humidity low, and this is a more solid, healthier, and drier home.

Structural Support (SmartJacks)
This home in Little Rock was experiencing moisture issues which then led to floor joist issues and wood rot. There were areas of the crawl space where the floor needed to be supported, which we did with our zinc coated metal beams and our SmartJack system. We also encapsulation the crawl space to get rid of the excess moisture. There are a few ways to tell that there may be some issues in your crawl space from inside the home. One way to tell inside your home that structural support might be needed is bouncy, spongey, buckling, or sloping floors. Other things may include cracks in the sheetrock or ceiling, which is a result of the home shifting.
Our SmartJack support system for crawl spaces effectively supports sagging beams and floor joists that are cause by a number of things. Moisture in the crawl space is not the only reason to see the support of our SmartJacks. They can also be used as a supplemental support where an existing column and pier foundation has settled.
SuperSump in Little Rock
Customer had concerns that the existing sump pump was not working as it should be. The result was to install a new sump pump in the crawl space. At this home, we installed our SuperSump pump. Our SuperSumps are designed to evacuate water from the crawl space or basement. The sump liner for this model has an 18” diameter, is 22” deep and made of structural polyethylene foam. This liner features a pump stand locator, which prevents the switch from getting hung up on the sidewalls of the liner but keeping the pump located properly in the liner. We also install a CleanPump stand in the liner, which is designed to fit in the bottom of all our liners, which keeps the pump elevated from silt and sediment build-up.
The SuperSump features a Zoeller M-53 1/3 horsepower cast iron submersible pump with an automatic mechanical float switch. This pump will pump out around 2240 gallons per hour at an 8’ head. This Zoeller pump comes with a 36-month warranty. After securing the lid on the liner, we also install a WaterWatch Alarm system. This alarm system will sound when the water rises above the point where the pump would normally be triggered to come on. This is designed to alert the homeowner to any problems that might arise with the sump pump, for example a power outage to the pump. We have an amazing service department that can come out and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Dirty Crawl Space in Little Rock, Arkansas
This home is an older home, that was experiencing the water and moisture problems. Under the home there was a dirt built up under parts of the home. To solve the problems the system design specialist created a plan.
This plan started by removing this dirt, then grading out the floor to remove any holes that there may be. These holes are prime places for water to sit, this water can influence the rest of the crawl space. Once the crawl space was prepped drainage matting was installed, this creates small tunnels for the water to flow through. To finish a new EverLast Door was installed, this door locks and seals out any moisture and pests from entering the crawl space.
Moldy Crawl Space in Little Rock, AR
This homeowner was smelling mold and mildew and they could not figure out where it was coming from. Upon doing some research the homeowner thought that it might be coming from under the home, so he decided to call the experts. The system design specialist went under the home and found that insulation had fallen and was wet. There were also small holes that have been caused by pest that had entered the crawl space. In these holes there was water standing.
To solve all of these problems the crew started by removing the insulation that had fallen. They then graded and prepped the floor to remove all of the holes that the water was standing in. Once the crawl space was prepped the crew installed Drainage Matting, this creates small tunnels for any water that enters the crawl space. On top of the Drainage Matting CleanSpace was installed, this vapor barrier locks out moisture to keep the crawl space dry. Piers were also wrapped in the CleanSpace to ensure that there was nowhere for the water or moisture to enter. A SaniDry Sedona was installed to control the humidity under the home. This is the most energy efficient dehumidifier on the market. They also sealed the vents so there was nowhere for the pests to enter.
Crawl Space Encapsulation in Little Rock, Arkansas
This homeowner had done extensive research on crawl space problems and decided to call us to encapsulate the crawl space. The system design specialist created a plan for the homeowner that would solve all of the problems. The crew had to start by grading and prepping the dirt floor so there were no holes for the water to sit in. Once the ground was graded out Drainage Matting was laid down, this has dimples in it that creates small tunnels for the water to flow through. On top of the drainage matting CleanSpace was put down, this locks out any moisture. The piers were also wrapped in CleanSpace to ensure that moisture could not invade anywhere. SilverGlo was installed on the walls. One side of the SilverGlo has a shiny silver side that reflects the heat to increase the energy efficiency. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed, this will control the overall humidity of the crawl space.
Wet Crawl Space in Little Rock Renewed
This home had water standing in the crawl space which could be the cause to a number of other problems. To solve the problems the crew started by grading and prepping the crawl space, to remove any holes for the water to stand in. Once the crawl space was prepped the crew installed drainage matting, which traps the water and creates tunnels for the water to flow out of the crawl space. On top of the drainage matting CleanSpace was placed down. The CleanSpace traps the moisture under it and does not let it affect the crawl space. The crew also wrapped the piers so there was no chance for moisture to affect any part of the crawl space. To solve the humidity problem the crew installed two SaniDry Sedona. These dehumidifiers are the most energy efficient on the market and will lower the relative humidity in the crawlspace.
Water in the Crawl Space in Little Rock, Arkansas
This homeowner knew that there was water coming into their crawl space, but they did not know how. The System Design Specialist went under the home to find that there was a water in the crawl space and knew exactly how to solve the problem. The crew graded and prepped the crawl space to make sure that there was not any holes in the floor. The crew then installed EZ flow that directs the water to the UltraSump which pumps the water out of the crawl space. On the outside the crew installed a LawnScape outlet that sends the water away from the foundation. They also installed IceGuard that allows the water to escape even if the line is clogged or frozen.

In need of a moisture barrier in our 2700sq ft house crawlspace. i'm about to crawl under to check out the whole thing but i know of at least some pockets of water collecting in low spots. would love to get an estimate on cost to help control humidity down there, as well as control any standing water (if any). not looking to traditionally encapsulate, as i know how expensive that can get. we are totally okay with a lesser labor intensive solution, if one exists.

Hi, I'm interested in learning more about crawl space encapsulation. My home was completely gutted in 2020, and the contractors (I bought the house already finished) added 2 sump pumps, but there is still quite a bit of water in the crawl space - standing here and there due to uneven settling. I was wanting someone to take a look at what I've got and offer some recommendations. Thanks!
