Customers in Jonesboro called us with a messy situation under their home. The crawl space was wet and soggy, and was causing some damage to their home. The debris and old insulation under the home was a nesting area for critters, and the lining was pulled and torn, allowing moisture to come into the crawl space, and creating a breeding ground for mold and mildew. 

Jordan and his team installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation system to stop mold in it's tracks. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System includes a 20 mil thick liner,  a 7 layer blend of high and low density polyethylene with polyester cord reinforcement to completely isolate your home from the earth.

All parts of the Encapsulation System work together to create a healthy environment for your home. Beneath the liner is the Drainage Matting, which directs ground water into the EZ Flow Drainage System. The Drainage System connects to the SmartSump Sump Pump, as does the Sani-Dry Sedona Dehumidifier. The sump pump pumps the water out and away from the home, leaving your crawl space drier and healthier, and the homeowners happier!

This homeowner has water all over the floor of their basement. They could not keep it dry and did not know where the water was coming in at. To solve the water coming in our crew started by cleaning up all of the water. They also had to jackhammer out a space to install the SuperSump. This SuperSump works to pump out the water of the basement, it has a special lid that ensures no mositure will affect the basement. They also installed WaterGaurd, this is a special interior drainage system. The water flows through WaterGaurd to the SuperSump and out of the basement. To ensure that the discharge line is not affected by any clogs or ice the crew installed an IceGaurd. 

There was a lot of standing water and soaked insulation under this home. This water could be the culprit for many problems down the road. Our crew started by removing the wet insulation because by sitting on the floor it is not serving its purpose. Also, wet insulation is a prime place for mold and mildew to grow. Once the crew had the crawl space cleaned out they installed drainage matting, this material is used to create a tunnel for the water to flow through to escape the crawl space. On top of the drainage matting, the crew installed CleanSpace, this creates a seal to ensure that no moisture is able to affect any part of the crawl space. The crew also installed a Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier. This dehumidifier will lower the overall humidity of the crawl space so there is no chance for mold or mildew to grow. Crawl space vent covers were also installed so outside moisture and air do not create any problems in the future. 

This customer called us explaining that an animal had dug a hole into the crawl space and water leaked into the crawl space and was standing. He did not want this to become worse of a problem than it already was, so he called us. We inspected the crawl space and found there was no clear way for the water to drain out of the crawl space. In order to get this crawl space ready for work the team had to grade out the floor so there were not holes for the water to sit in.

To help this customer we installed drainage matting. Drainage matting is used to direct the water to a SmartSump, which we also installed under this home. The SmartSump works to drain the water out of the crawl space. We also installed an IceGuard, this is to ensure that the water will not go back into the crawlspace even if the line freezes or is clogged.
