Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Vapor Barrier for Little Rock Home
The floors in this Little Rock home were developing soft spots, causing the homeowners to grow concerned about moisture in the crawl space. They called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas and our Design Specialist, John T. came out to inspect the crawl space. After visiting with the homeowners about their concerns, he gave them some ideas on how to dry out the crawl space and their home!
Our installers graded and prepped the crawl space, then treated the area with our Mold-X2 to eliminate mold growth. They installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels and sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals to help keep energy costs low. They carefully measured the opening of the crawl space and custom cut the EverLast Access Door on site, helping keep moisture out of the crawl space. The dimpled Drainage Matting was installed, acting as a thermal break and vapor barrier, and secured at the seams to help keep the crawl space dry. Our pint-sized powerhouse, the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, keeps humidity below 60%, and this home is cleaner and healthier!
