Timbo CrawlSpace Repair

Challenge

A homeowner in Timbo called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas due to moisture in his crawl space. He had invested a lot of money to get his crawl space dry, but the moisture would not go away. After installing gutters and a French Drain to carry water away from his home, he decided he wanted a permanent solution to his problem. Our Design Specialist, Michael, inspected the crawl space and visited with the homeowner about his concerns. The homeowners chose to have our Ez Flow Drainage System with the TripleSafe Sump Pump, SilverGlo Insulation Panels, SmartJacks, the CleanSpace Liner, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier installed.

Solution

Bryan and his team began by grading and prepping the crawl space to remove debris and even out the dirt floor, eliminating areas where water could puddle. They installed a SmartJack to provide additional support for the home.  In the lowest point of the crawl space, they installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump, the world's most reliable pumping system. They dug a trench around the walls of the crawl space and installed the Ez Flow Drainage System below the footers and connected it to the TripleSafe. Ez Flow will collect ground water and drain it into the sump pump to keep the ground drier. They wrapped the piers with Wallie to prevent condensation and installed SilverGlo Insulation Panels to keep humid outside air out of the crawl space. This also helps keep heating and cooling costs down! The dimpled Drainage Matting provides a thermal break and a layer of durability on the dirt floor, while the CleanSpace Liner isolates the home from the earth, completely and permanently. The addition of the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier keeps the humidity below 60%; the home is now cleaner, healthier, and drier!
