Chidester Crawl Space Repair
Challenge
This homeowner noticed her floors were feeling a bit "squishy" so she called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help. When Craigen arrived, he visited with the homeowner about her concerns and inspected her crawl space. She shared she was interested in supporting her floor joists, and asked if we could help. Craigen assured her she made the right call.
Solution
Will and his team began by adding temporary support under the floor joists of the home. This allowed them to safely add 6 and 8 foot floor joists where needed. They replaced the main beams with our metal beam to better support the floors, and they then added the SmartJacks. SmartJacks are adjustable supports for the home to provide additional support and raise the floors back up to where they are supposed the be. The homeowner loved our crew and the work they did!
