Sherwood Crawl Space Contractor
Challenge
These home buyers in Sherwood were concerned about buying a home on a crawl space. They wanted an outside contractor to have a look, so they called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas. Curtis, one of our Design Specialists, inspected the crawl space to help them determine their next step. Since the builder built the home without vents, the buyers only needed to isolate the home from the earth with CleanSpace and have our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier installed!
Solution
Zachary and his team began by grading and prepping the crawl space; removing debris and smoothing out the surface. They then installed the dimpled Drainage Matting and secured it to the floor and walls of the crawl space. The Drainage Matting acts as a thermal barrier and the dimples prevent water from pooling below the surface. The CleanSpace Liner was installed directly above, again secured to the walls and floor of the crawl space, isolating the home from the earth, completely and permanently. The anti-microbial infused liner provides a bright white finish and keeps the crawl space clean and dry. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to keep humidity in the crawl space below 60%. This pint-sized powerhouse maintains an energy star rating while removing up to 100 pints of moisture per day!
