Crawl Space Encapsulation Company in Conway
Challenge
A home in Conway was built at the base of a hill and the crawl space was taking on water. The homeowners called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas when they noticed humidity in their home. Jack, one of our Design Specialists, inspected the crawl space. After visiting with the homeowners about their concerns, he suggested Drainage Matting as a vapor barrier, the Ez Flow Drainage System to prevent water from entering the crawl space, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
Solution
Daniel and his team began by grading and prepping the crawl space to make a smooth surface. They dug a trench around the walls of the crawl space to install the Ez Flow Drainage System below the footers. This would lead to the Super SmartDrain in the lowest point of the crawl space, allowing water to drain out of the crawl space. The team installed SilverGlo Insulation Panels and SilverGlo Vent Seals to keep outside air out of the crawl space, then installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep the humidity in the crawl space consistently under 60%. The whole home is now cleaner, drier, and healthier, which makes these homeowners very happy!
