Challenge
A realtor reached out to CrawlSpace Solutions with a problem. She had someone who wanted to purchase a home, but they wanted the crawl space encapsulated before purchase. Jack, one of our Design Specialists, inspected the crawl space and designed a solution to help all parties involved.
Solution
Daniel and his team began by prepping and grading the crawl space. They then treated the crawl space with Mold-X2 to remove mold growth. The team dug a hole in the lowest point to install the SmartSump Sump Pump before adding SilverGlo Vent Seals to block outside air from entering the crawl space. They wrapped the piers with Wallie to prevent condensation from forming on the porous concrete and installed our dimpled Drainage Matting as a thermal break. The CleanSpace Liner rests on the Drainage Matting and is secured to the walls and floor of the crawl space, isolating the home from the earth, completely and permanently. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier removes moisture from the air at a rate of up to 100 pints per day, keeping the whole home cleaner, drier, and healthier!
