Crawl Space Encapsulation in Heber Springs

Challenge

These Heber Springs homeowners were concerned about moisture and the possibility of mold in their crawl space. They called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas and Jack went out to inspect their home. He found moisture and suggested a full CleanSpace Encapsulation with the EverLast Door and SmartJacks for support. Solution

Bryan and his crew began by grading and prepping the crawl space, removing debris and making the surface of the crawl space smoother. The team installed SilverGlo Insulation Panels and Vents Seals, then added rim joist insulation to keep the entire crawl space better insulated. The EverLast Access Door was custom cut on-site to ensure a secure fit, and SmartJacks, wood and metal beams, and shims were added to increase structural support throughout. The piers were wrapped with Wallie to prevent condensation from entering through the porous concrete, then the dimpled Drainage Matting was laid on the crawl space floor. Our CleanSpace Liner was installed on the Drainage Matting, isolating the home from the earth, completely and permanently. The final step was the installation of the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, keeping the humidity in the crawl space below 60% while helping save on energy costs with its energy star rating!
