Hot Springs National Park Crawl Space Encapsulation

Challenge

A homeowner in Hot Springs National Park noticed high humidity in her rental property from the damp crawl space. She called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas to help fix the problem. Jack, one of our Design Specialist, inspected the crawl space. After visiting with her about her concerns, he suggested the CleanSpace Encapsulation System.

Solution

Justin and his crew began by grading and prepping the crawl space. They sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals and custom cut the EverLast Door on site to ensure an exact fit. The piers were wrapped with Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner designed for masonry piers, then our dimpled Drainage Matting was installed as a thermal break. The CleanSpace Liner was installed above it, secured to the walls and floors of the crawl space, completely and permanently isolating the home from the earth. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed and set to keep humidity below 60%.
