Crawl Space Repair Company in Fort Smith

Challenge

This Ft. Smith crawl space was holding so much moisture doors weren't closing right, walls were cracking, and the floor was sinking. The owner called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help, so our Design Specialist, Michael, went to inspect his crawl space. Michael suggested a full CleanSpace Encapsulation, and the homeowner was thrilled to have a solutions to his problem!

Solution

Bryan and his crew started by grading and prepping the crawl space, then digging a hole for the TripleSafe Sump Pump in the lowest point of the crawl space. They then dug a trench around the walls of the crawl space to just below the footers to install our Ez Flow Drainage System and connect it to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The trench and hole are backfilled with clean rocks to reduce the amount of mud entering the system. SilverGlo Insulation Panels were secured to the walls, and SilverGlo Vent Seals prevent humid air from entering the crawl space. Our metal hinged and lockable door was installed; then a metal beam and SmartJacks were installed to provide additional support. The piers were wrapped with Wallie to prevent condensation from entering through the porous concrete and the dimpled Drainage Matting was installed as a thermal break. Finally, the CleanSpace Liner was installed, isolating the home from the earth, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was set up to drain into the TripleSafe, keeping the humidity in the crawl space below 60%.

The homeowner is thrilled with the results and loves his whole home being cleaner, drier, healthier, and more stucturally sound!
