Hot Springs Village Crawl Space Repair
Challenge
A homeowner in Hot Springs Village had a crawl space repair company out to do some work in her crawl space. After review, she called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help to get her crawl space encapsulated correctly. Craigen, one of our Design Specialists, inspected the crawl space and designed a solution that would keep her home dry, clean, and healthy!
Solution
Justin and his team began by grading and prepping the crawl space and removing debris. They then dug a trench and installed the Ez Flow Drainage System, which will carry water from the ground to the SmartSump. The SmartSump was installed in the lowest point of the crawl space with a discharge line to carry water out and away from the home. Piers were wrapped with Wallie and the vent was sealed with the SilverGlo Vent Seal to prevent humid outside air from entering the crawl space. The dimpled Drainage Matting was installed, helping to keep moisture away from the surface of the crawl space, and the CleanSpace Liner was secured to the walls and the floors of the crawl space, isolating the home from the earth completely and permanently. To keep humidity low, the team installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. This encapsulation has made the homeowner very happy she called the professionals, CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas!
