Challenge

These homeowners in Austin were concerned mold and moisture and wanted a quote to get a full encapsulation in their crawl space. They called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas and Craigen came out to visit with them and inspect their crawl space. Solution

Justin and his team began by grading and prepping the crawl space to remove large rocks and even out the crawl space floor. They treated the crawl space with Mold-X2 to kill the active mold, then sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals. SilverGo Vent Seals prevent the humid outside air from entering the crawl space, helping save on energy costs. The piers were wrapped with Wallie, our 12-mil thick liner; then the dimpled Drainage Matting was installed on the crawl space floor as a thermal break. The 20-mil thick CleanSpace Liner was laid above the Drainage Matting and secured to the walls and floor of the crawl space to isolate the home from the earth, completely and permanently.
