Little Rock Moisture Control
Challenge
When these Little Rock homeowners installed new flooring, they wanted to make sure it would last. A damp crawl space can cause problems like bowing or sagging, so they called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas. Our Design Specialist, Michael, met with them, inspected their crawl space, and made recommendations to make their crawl space and home dry healthy!
Solution
Daniel and his team began by grading and prepping the crawl space to remove larger rocks and smooth out the surface of the crawl space floor. They sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals and installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels to the walls of the crawl space. This step helps save on heating and cooling costs year-round. The team carefully installed the dimpled Drainage Matting to help keep provide a thermal break and keep moisture out of the crawl space area. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier they put in will keep humidity below 55%; and this crawl space is now drier and healthier.
