Austin Crawl Space Encapsulation
Challenge
These homeowners in Austin called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help with their crawl space. We were not their first phone call, they had already received a quote from another company and knew they needed a full encapsulation and mold treatment. Solution
Justin and his team began by grading and prepping the crawl space, removing larger rocks and preventing water from pooling under the home. They treated the crawl space with Mold-X2, a powerful product that kills mold and prevents it from growing in the future. The team wrapped the piers with Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner designed to prevent condensation from the porous concrete from entering the crawl space. The vents were sealed with SilverGlo Vent Seals, and the EverLast Door was then custom cut on site to ensure an exact fit. The CleanSpace Liner was installed and secured in the crawl space to isolate the home from the earth. Adding the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep the humidity level below 60% completed this installation. The homeowners are thrilled with their choice!
