Hot Springs Village Moisture Control

Challenge

Homeowners in Hot Springs Village were very interested in making their crawl space drier, so they called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas. Jack visited with them and discovered they wanted to eliminate the moisture so they could use the crawl space for storage. After inspecting the crawl space, Jack suggested our SilverGlo Insulation Panels, Drainage Matting, the TripleSafe Sump Pump, and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The also requested a storage deck be built in the crawl space.

Solution

Will and his team got started right away, grading and prepping the crawl space. They dug a hole in the lowest point of the crawl space and installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump. They also dug a trench along the wall of the crawl space, just below the footer, to install the Ez Flow Drainage System. Ez Flow takes on water from the ground before it enters the crawl space and drains it into the TripleSafe Sump Pump, where it is pumped out and away from the home. The team sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals, and installed SilverGlo Insulation Panels all along the crawl space walls to help make the home more energy efficient. The team built a wooden deck to cover part of the crawl space for the owner to use for storage, then installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier on the deck, draining into the TripleSafe Sump Pump.
