Kingston Crawl Space Encapsulation
Challenge
This Kingston homeowner wanted the clean, dry crawl space he saw in our commercials instead of the damp, dirty crawl space he had, so he called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas. Curtis, one of our Design Specialists, went to visit with him and inspect the crawl space. Curtis proposed a way to make the crawl space, and the whole home, cleaner, drier, and healthier!
Solution
Zachary and his crew treated the affected areas with Mold-X2 to remove mold and prevent it from spreading. The team graded and prepped the crawl space, removing larger rocks and evening out the surface of the crawl space floor. The piers were wrapped with Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner, to prevent condensation from forming on the porous concrete, and SilverGlo Vent Seals and Insulation Panels were installed to help They added a second access point to the crawl space, and custom cut the EverLast Door to secure the entry for years to come. The CleanSpace Liner isolated the home from the earth, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier removed moisture at a rate of up to 100 pints per day.
