Challenge

This Little Rock homeowner noticed his floors were bowing and lifting, so he called CrawlSpace Solution. He had a vapor barrier down, but knew it wasn't enough to stop the mositure. After inspecting the crawl space, our Design Specialist, John, suggested a complete encapsulation with the SmartSump Sump Pump and SaniDry Sedona.

Solution

James and his team started by prepping the crawl space, then digging a hole in the lowest part of the crawl space to install the SmartSump. A trench leading to the SmartSump was dug around the walls of the crawl space to install the Ez Flow Drainage System. Ez Flow will drain groundwater and run-off into the SmartSump to be pumped out and away from the home. The vents were sealed with our SilverGlo Vent Seals, and the piers were wrapped with Wallie. Our dimpled Drainage Matting, made from recycled high density polyethylene provides a thermal break and cushion below the CleanSpace Liner. The CleanSpace Liner is installed and secured in place to ensure no gathering and bunching. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, pulling up to 100 pints of water out of the air per day, will move 300 cubic feet of dry air around the crawl space every minute.
