Crawl Space Vapor Barrier in Hot Springs Village, AR

Challenge

Homeowners in Hot Springs Village called CrawlSpace Solutions with moisture issues in their crawl space. Our Design Specialist, Jack, inspected the crawl space and helped the owners find the solution to their moisture concerns.

Solution

We installed the SmartSump Sump Pump in the lowest point of the crawl space, being fed by the Ez Flow Drainage System around the perimeter of the crawl space and just below the footers. The SmartSump pumps water out of the crawl space, through IceGuard and away from the home. IceGuard allows water to escape the drainage system even if it freezes or gets blocked. The vents were sealed with our SilverGlo Vent Seals, and the piers were wrapped with Wallie to prevent condensation from entering the crawl space. After the surface of the crawl space is graded and prepped, the team installed our dimpled Drainage Matting to allow ground water to flow towards Ez Flow. The CleanSpace Liner was installed on the Drainage Matting to isolate the home from the earth, and the SaniDry Sedona keeps the humidity in the crawl space below 55%.
