Challenge

This homeowner wanted their crawl space encapsulated to prevent moisture, mold, and rot.

Solution

Our installation crew dug a hole in the lowest point of the crawl space to install the SmartSump Sump Pump. They dug a trench along the walls of the crawl space and installed the Ez Flow Drainage System and connected it to the SmartSump. All the water collected by Ez Flow will flow into the SmartSump, which will pump everything outside the home, through IceGuard and out to the LawnScape Outlet. 

After all the digging, the crew graded the dirt floor of the crawl space and installed SilverGlo Vent Seals to prevent outside air from entering the space, and wrapped the piers with Wallie. Wallie is a 12-mil thick liner designed to prevent moisture from entering through porous concrete. The dimpled Drainage Matting provided a thermal break, and the CleanSpace Liner gives a bright white finished look and feel to the crawl space while isolating the home from the earth. The SaniDry Sedona was installed and set to keep humidity levels below 55%, helping save money on heating and cooling costs. They carefully measured and custom cut the EverLast Door to form a tight seal around the crawl space entry, and this CleanSpace crawl space now makes this home cleaner, drier, and healthier!
