Crawl Space Encapsulation in Jordan

Challenge

This homeowner in Jordan had tried to keep his tall crawl space dry by installing a vapor barrier, but moisture was still entering. One of our Design Specialists, Jack, inspected the crawl space and found moisture and standing water.

Solution

Jack recommended a CleanSpace Encapsulation with a SmartSump Sump Pump and the SaniDry Sedona. The installation team dug a hole at the lowest point in the crawl space where they installed the SmartSump Sump Pump with a discharge line run outside the crawl space and away from the home. They graded the crawl space floor and sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals. They wrapped the piers with Wallie to prevent condensation, and the dimpled Drainage Matting was installed on the dirt floor of the crawl space. The CleanSpace Liner was securely installed above the Drainage Matting, isolating the home from the earth completely and permanently. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to keep humidity in the crawl space below 60%, keeping the whole home cleaner and drier.
