Conway Crawl Space Moisture Solutions

Challenge

Conway homeowners were concerned about the structural supports of the home they purchased. They called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help. John T. came out and inspected the crawl space and made suggestions to eliminate moisture and provide additional supports.

Solution

James and his team began by prepping and grading the crawl space. This step removes debris and facilitates drainage. They installed our dimpled Drainage Matting to provide a thermal break and keep ground water beneath it to help keep the crawl space drier. A metal beam and SmartJacks were added to provide structural support along the length of the home, and vents were sealed with our SilverGlo Vent Seals. These Vent Seals prevent outside air from entering the crawl space and provide insulation for the area. The team installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep moisture below 60%, and the EverLast Door was custom cut on site for an accurate seal at the crawl space entry.
