Wet Crawl Space Repair in Bentonville
Challenge
This homeowner in Bentonville had purchased an older home with a dirt floor crawl space with no ventilation. A crawl space that is unvented and unencapsulated is just holding on the all the moisture from the ground, creating a very unhealthy environment.
Solution
Our installation teams installed the Ez Flow Drainage System around the outside walls and the SmartSump Sump Pump in the lowest part of the crawl space, removing ground water from the crawl space and pumping it away from the home. After grading and prepping the area, they wrapped the piers with Wallie to prevent moisture from entering through the porous concrete, and installed the dimpled Drainage Matting, directing ground water towards Ez Flow and the SmartSump. The CleanSpace Liner was secured in the crawl space to isolate the home from the earth and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier keeps humidity in the crawl space below 60%.
