Challenge

This recent home buyer in Redfield called Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas after her home inspection. Our Design Specialist, Craigen, went to meet with her and inspect her crawl space. They decided to do a complete encapsulation with CleanSpace, the EverLast Door, and the SmartSump Sump Pump.

Solution

Justin and his crew graded and prepped the crawl space, removing debris and digging a hole for the SmartSump Sump Pump in the lowest point of the crawl space. They dug the trench to house the Ez Flow Drainage System below the footers of the walls of the crawl space. The Ez Flow Drainage System collects water from the crawl space and drains it into the SmartSump before being pumped away from the home. 

The home was made more structurally sound by the addition of a metal beam and sistered supporting floor joists throughout the crawl space. Vents were sealed with SilverGlo Vent Seals, and the EverLast Door was custom cut onsite to ensure a perfect fit. The dimpled Drainage Matting added a thermal break, and the CleanSpace Liner isolated the home from the earth, completely and permanently. Setting the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to 55%, the whole home will stay healthier and drier.
