Morrilton Crawl Space Moisture Solutions

Challenge

The moisture in this Morrilton crawl space had spread into the home, and the owner wanted to take care of it as quickly as possible. John Trahan came out to inspect the crawl space and together, they decided to treat the mold, put down a moisture barrier, and seal the vents to keep the outside air from entering the crawl space.

Solution

Jason and his team began by treating the mold with our Mold-X2 to remove active mold from the beams. They then started removing debris and grading and prepping the dirt floor, directing any ground water run off out of the crawl space. The vents were sealed and the EverLast Door was custom cut on site to be a perfect fit over the crawl space entrance. Additional supports were added to improve the structural integrity of the home, and our dimpled Drainage Matting was carefully installed to provide a thermal break between the home and the earth. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was set up to keep humidity in the crawl space below 60%, moving 300 cubic feet of dry air around the crawl space every minute.
