Wet Crawl Space Repair in Conway

When you find mold in your crawl space, you will try everything to get rid of it. This Conway homeowner had taken the "do it yourself" approach and was looking for a better way. He knew there was moisture under his home, but his major concern was mold. Our Design Specialist, Curtis, inspected the crawl space and designed a solution to dry out the crawl space and eliminate the mold.

Solution

Our crew first treated the crawl space with our Mold-X2, removing the mold from organic materials. This powerful cleaner was followed by Mold-X2 Botanical, preventing mold from growing back. They installed rim joist insulation and sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals. They insulated the walls of the crawl space with graphite infused SilverGlo Insulation Panels. The graphite increases the insulation value of the foam panels by 24%. This will help lower heating and cooling costs for these homeowners. After grading and prepping the crawl space floor, they wrapped the piers with Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner designed for masonry. This wrap reduces humidity in the air by not allowing the porous concrete to release moisture. Drainage Matting was installed on the dirt floor, trapping any ground water beneath it while allowing it to flow towards the outside of the home. The CleanSpace Liner isolates the home from the earth, providing a bright white finish to the crawl space. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier completes the encapsulation, making this home drier, cleaner, and healthier!
