Crawl Space Repair Service in Hot Springs Village

Challenge

You don't have to wait until you have a problem in your crawl space to get a solution in your crawl space! This couple was having a home built in Hot Springs Village and saw our trucks in their neighborhood, so they went over to find out what we did. After visiting with one of our Design Specialist, Curtis, they knew they wanted to protect their home from the harmful effects of moisture and mold before they became a problem. They were excited to get started!

Solution

Curtis designed a solution that would prevent moisture from entering the crawl space. Thomas, Stephen and their crew were able to grade and prep the space, then install the SmartSump Sump Pump in the lowest point of the crawl space. A drain line was run from the SmartSump to outside the home, through our patented IceGuard, and discharged away from the house. If the outside drain lines freeze, IceGuard allows water to escape without running back into the crawl space. The crew sealed the vents with SilverGlo Vent Seals, made from SilverGlo Insulation Panels; and wrapped the piers with Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner designed to keep moisture from masonry out of the crawl space. Our dimpled Drainage Matting lies directly on the graded dirt floor, the dimples directing ground water and moisture towards the sump pump. The crew installed our 20-mil thick CleanSpace Liner directly above the Drainage Matting, isolating the home from the earth. The SaniDry XP Dehumidifier removes moisture from the air and acts as an air filtration system for your crawl space.
