EverLast Access Well and EverLast Door
Challenge
These homeowners in Cash were concerned with the settling their home had undergone over the years. They were unable to access their crawl space and needed additional support under the home. They were sure there was moisture and water damage but were at a loss as to where to start. CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas was the right call!
Solution
Jack, one of our Design Specialist, met with the homeowners and inspected the crawl space. In addition to recommending a full encapsulation and SmartJacks, he suggested our EverLast Access Well and EverLast Door.
By allowing outside air in the crawl space, we are allowing cold air to come in during winter and hot air during the summer. This increases our heating and cooling bills and allows humidity in the house all year round.
Bryan and his crew completed the installation in this crawl space. They measured the entry of the crawl space so they could custom cut the door on site. This ensures the door will be a perfect fit for your crawl space entry. The EverLast Door seals off outside air and is compatible with the damp conditions near the ground. It is designed to replace rotted and leaky exterior doors. It is a half inch thick Polypropylene Plastic that is resistant to mold growth, waterproof, and will not rot or rust. A custom fit door for your crawl space will look good and last for years.
The EverLast Access Well is designed for those harder to enter crawl space, typically those that are below grade. Made from very heavy gauge durable polyethylene, it allows for easier access to the area under your home. It is big enough for you to crouch down and enter your crawl space, will hold back soil, and will last for years without rusting, rotting, or needing paint. The EverLast Access Well will help protect your crawl space from soil run off, and with the optional cover, it will protect your crawl space entry from the harmful effects of rain or snow.
These additional features added to a CleanSpace Encapsulation will secure your crawl space and the entry to it. You will enjoy a cleaner, more usable crawl space without having to crawl through mud to gain access.
