Moisture Barrier in England, AR
Challenge
Homeowner Jessica S From England, AR noticed that she was having excessive condensation under our home which has made the floors soft.
Solution
Floor buckling is the most extreme reaction to moisture on a hardwood floor. Buckling occurs when the wood flooring actually pulls up from the subfloor, lifting several inches in one or more places. Fortunately, this is not a common occurrence. Floor buckling happens most often after a floor has been flooded for an extended period of time. If caught early, spot repair and replacement may be possible.
Luckily for Jessica, we caught the damage early and were able to successfully fix her issue without her having to replace her hardwood floors. We solve her issue by installing a few products in her crawl space, that will eliminate all moisture and prevent future moisture issues from occurring. We installed our CleanSpace Liner, our SaniDry Sedona.
Now, Jessica no longer has to worry about her floors buckling in.
