Challenge
Homeowner Tamara R. called in stating that she has high moisture in her crawl space and her floors are beginning to buckle.
Solution
Our production crew installed a CleanSpace liner and a SuperSump in order to permanently waterproof the crawl space. CleanSpace liner is a white and blue, seven-layer reinforced laminate, containing no adhesives. The outer layer consists of high strength polyurethane film manufactured using virgin grade resins and containing UVI and thermal stabilizer. The liner is used to isolate the home from the earth completely and permanently, reducing the humidity levels in the air and preventing mold growth in the crawl space.
The SuperSump includes the most reliable pump available, a WaterWatch alarm system, and an airtight lid. It can pump up to 2,650 gallons per hour smoothly and quietly. It resists clogging and can pump up to ½” solids. The SuperSump is guaranteed to perform reliably for many years.
Both of these products work together to keep the resident’s crawl space dry all the time.
