Water in Crawlspace, Horseshoe Bend, AR
Challenge
Homeowner Raymond M had recently purchased this home and his crawl space passed inspection. However, when it rains, water is getting inside the space.
Solution
When our System Design Specialist Jack arrived at Raymond's house, he did a thorough inspection to see what the issue was. At that point, it was clear to see that there was indeed water damage to his crawl space. We needed to act fast in order to prevent further water damage. Jack developed a plan on beating the water damage in the future. Jack decided to use the following products to defeat the water: our TripleSafe sump pump, IceGuard, and our CleanSpace liner.
Our TripleSafe sump pump is for customers who want to keep their basements dry- period. It has three pumps to give you complete protection. If your first pump fails, the second one takes over. If your first pump can't keep up, then it and a more powerful second pump run at the same time- more than doubling capacity. and if your power goes out, and UltraSump battery backup pump takes over- and it's all automatic!!!
The next thing we installed was out IceGuard. This system allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked, for any reason.
The last thing we installed to keep this crawl space completely dry is our CleanSpace liner. This liner is used to isolate the home from the earth completely and permanently. This dramatically reduces the humidity levels in the air which, when combined with sealing outside air and dehumidification, will eliminate mold growth and rot from the crawl space.
