Challenge

Customers called in stating that they have a rental property with high moisture issues in the Crawl Space.

Solution

The best solution for preventative moisture control was our CleanSpace encapsulation system, the SaniDry dehumidification system. These two solutions put together will ensure the crawlspace remains dry, controlling the moisture that seeps into the crawlspace.

We start off by installing the encapsulation system, consisting of a vapor barrier that prevents moisture from accumulating through the block walls and floor. Underneath the barrier lies a drainage matting that guides any water coming behind the barrier to the sump pump.

To further protect this homeowner's crawlspace, the SaniDry dehumidification system was installed. Any excessive moisture or humidity in this crawlspace will be removed, ensuring the area will remain clean and dry. The SaniDry can be set to proper humidity level, so the homeowner can be comfortable knowing the humidity level will not exceed what is set. By keeping moisture and humidity levels low, pests and mold cannot thrive.
