Customer notices his crawl space had high levels of moisture issues. He called the experts in the industry to see what the issue was and how it can be resolved. Having high levels of moisture in your crawlspace can create mold growth.
Solution
When our team arrived on this project, they inspected the moisture issues and determined the best solution would be to install a CleanSpace liner, Drainage Matting, and a SaniDry Sedona. By installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation System isolates your home from the earth, which will dramatically reduce the humidity levels in the air. When combined with sealing outside air and dehumidification, will eliminate mold growth and rot from your crawl space. By adding the Drainage Matting it creates a drainage space under the CleanSpace liner for water to flow beneath. It also adds durability, puncture resistance, and a thermal break. The Last thing that was installed on this project was the Sedona which is used to eliminate damp, musty odors in your basement or crawl space by drying and filtering the air. Whether a dehumidifier will keep up and ensure mold won't grow in all seasonal conditions, depends on how much water it will take out of the air. This depends on the capacity and air flow. The SaniDry Sedona has a whopping 100 pints per day capacity and will move over 300 cubic feet of dry air per minute around your basement or crawl space. This dries the building materials and contents of your home, and makes that damp feeling go away.
