Crawl Space Encapsulation and Sump Pump Installation in Beebe, AR

After: A resident of Beebe saw our ad on TV and wanted our professional opinion of his crawl space. When Jack, one of our Design Specialists, arrived, he found a very wet crawl space with the potential to do a lot of damage. The amount of water he found under the crawl space can not only cause mold but can lead to the supporting structures of the home beginning to rot. Jack proposed a full crawl space encapsulation with a sump pump, and the homeowner agreed.

Bryan’s installation crew removed the debris and graded the crawl space. The SmartSump Sump Pump was installed, and a discharge line was run from the sump pump to 15 feet away from the home.  The piers are wrapped with Wallie to direct condensation from the masonry to under the Drainage Matting. The Drainage Matting is a durable, puncture resistant polyethylene between two layers of Virgin HDPE. It directs water towards the perimeter or the sump pump, depending on the crawl space. It provides a thermal break under the CleanSpace Liner. CleanSpace Liner, with an antimicrobial additive called UltraFresh, isolates the home from the earth and reduces humidity in the air, helping to eliminate mold and rot. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to pull moisture from the air at a rate of 100 pints per day, and it drains into the SmartSump to be pumped away from the home.

The crawl space is now dry, with no standing water, and no threat of mold or rot. The homeowner is much happier, and we were happy to be his choice for crawl space repair in Beebe!
