The basement of this property was taking on water when it rained and the owner was concerned. Jack, one of our Design Specialists, inspected the basement and visited with the homeowner. Jack explained the need to close off any gaps in the wall, and the need for the TripleSafe Sump Pump, WaterGuard, and the CleanSpace Wall System.

Solution

James and his team made the repairs in the basement wall with FlexiSpan Crack Repair System, sealing a moisture entry point. The crew then began jackhammering the concrete floor all around the exterior walls in the basement. The WaterGuard Drainage System was installed just below floor level with a wall flange to trap and drain condensation from the block walls. Ports were installed throughout WaterGuard to allow easy access to the system, and a hole was dug in the basement floor for the installation of the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump features three separate motors and the WaterWatch Alarm, protecting your home from leaking, appliance floods, and power outages. After installing the TripleSafe, the jackhammered floor is repaired, allowing access to the entirety of the basement. The CleanSpace Wall System was installed, preventing moisture from condensation from entering the basement. The basement is staying dry and the owner can use the space!
