A crawl space with a concrete floor is still a crawl space, and we do "All Things CrawlSpace-y"! These homeowners were having trouble with water seeping into the crawl space during heavy rains, and they really wanted their crawl space to be more appealing to the potential buyer. Solution
Our Design Specialist, Jack, was able to present the homeowners with a solution to their problems in the form of WaterGuard and BrightWall.
WaterGuard is a piping system engineered specifically to solve concrete crawl space water problems effectively without worry of clogging from soils under the floor. It intercepts water ant the perimeter of your crawl space and drains it unseen safely away. WaterGuard doesn't sit in the dirt, so no clogging from silt and sediment. Plus, it drains right into your sump pump, keeping your crawl space dry.
BrightWall is the answer to the question, what do I do with these walls? Painting concrete walls often makes them look worse because the moisture seeping through them causes paint to peel and chip. BrightWall is 100% water proof, meaning they will never rot, warp, or discolor. They are made to not only protect your home, but to be decorative. You can wipe them down just like wiping down a kitchen counter. Any moisture that comes through your crawl space walls will run down the wall, behind BrightWall, and right into WaterGuard, draining into the sump pump.
