Challenge

Homeowner  Dan W. stated he has water seepage in his crawl space. He decided to call in the experts at Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas to take a look at the issue.

Solution

Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas, solved the homeowner’s problem by installing WaterGuard and a SmartSump sump pump system.  WaterGuard is a piping system designed specifically to solve basement water problems without the worry of clogging pipes.  It is installed on top of the footing rather than beside it, so the dirt and debris from below cannot enter.  It also has a special wall flange to collect any wall seepage and drain it to the sump pump.  WaterGuard is an extremely effective way to permanently waterproof a basement.

The Smart Sump is a combination of patented and custom components which make up a highly efficient and reliable water evacuation system for crawl space environments. SmartSumps are designed to evacuate water from the crawl space. One feature I want to emphasize is the WaterWatch floor alarm system. This sounds off when water runs over the top of the lid surface. The WaterWatch floor alarm runs on a 9v battery and sounds off when the water contacts the 2 zinc coated sensors at the base of the alarm housing part.
