Challenge

When these homeowners in Hot Springs National Park found their investment property damp-feeling, they called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas. Since up to 50% of the air in your home comes from the crawl space, our Design Specialist Craigen knew they would need help getting it dried out. After inspecting the crawl space, Craigen suggested the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, Vent Seals, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. 

Solution

Zachary and his team started by grading and prepping the crawl space. This involves removing larger debris and rocks to ensure a smooth surface for Drainage Matting and the CleanSpace Liner. They installed the dimpled Drainage Matting directly on the surface of the crawl space to prevent water from pooling and allow drainage. The vents were sealed with our SilverGlo Vent Seals, preventing outside air and humidiity from entering the crawl space. The three EverLast Doors were custom cut on site for a precise fit, and the CleanSpace Liner was secured to the walls and floor of the crawl space to isolate the home from the earth completely and permanently. Two of our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifiers were installed to keep the humidity in the crawl space below 60%, preventing moisture induced rot.
