Searcy Crawl Space Moisture Solutions
Challenge
A Searcy homeowner called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help with her crawl space. She was concerned about insulation and wanted to install a vapor barrier to protect her home from moisture. Michael, one of our Design Specialists, met with her and inspected her crawl space. He suggested a vapor barrier, SmartJacks, our dimpled Drainage matting, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
Solution
Zach, Will, and their crews began by prepping and grading the crawl space. The area was treated with Mold-X2 to prevent mold growth, and allowed to air out before they continued the work. They installed our adjustable SmartJacks to provide support for the floor of the home, then installed SilverGlo Insulation Panels and Vent Seals. The EverLast Door was custom cut onsite for an exact fit, and the dimpled Drainage Matting was installed as a vapor barrier to help keep the home drier. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier helps keep the humidity below 60%, and this whole home is cleaner, drier, healthier, and more structurally sound.
