Cabot Crawl Space Repair

Challenge

A narrow crawl space in Cabot was holding water, and the homeowner was eager to dry out the space. She called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help, letting us know the space was very narrow. Our Design Specialist, Craigen, inspected the space and determined the best course of action was a complete encapsulation, SmartSump Sump Pump, and the EverLast Door. 

Solution

Justin and his team began by digging a hole in the lowest point of the crawl space and installing the SmartSump Sump Pump and UltraSump with battery back-up. The ground was prepped and graded towards the sump pump, and the piers were wrapped with Wallie, our 12-mil thick liner to prevent condensation from entering the crawl space through the porous concrete blocks. Vents were sealed with our SilverGlo Vent Seals, and the EverLast Door was custom cut on site and installed. The CleanSpace Liner was installed, isolating the home from the earth, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was set up to drain into the SmartSump and keep the humidity in the crawl space below 60%.
