Little Rock Basement Repair

Challenge

A Little Rock homeowner called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas when she noticed water in her basement. She had a sump pump installed by another company, but it wasn't keeping the water out. Jack went out to inspect the basement and visit with the homeowner. After their visit, she chose to have WaterGuard, CleanSpace Wall, and the SuperSump installed in her basement.

Solution

Zachary and his team removed the old sump pump and installed 2 new SuperSump Sump Pumps and UltraSumps with battery back-up in areas of the basement that took on the most water. This involved jackhammering the concrete to properly install the SuperSump and UltraSump. They also needed to jackhammer through the floor along the walls of the basement to just below floor level to install WaterGuard. WaterGuard collects water that comes in from between the wall and floor of the basement and drains it into the SuperSump and UltraSump to be pumped out and away from the home. After installation, WaterGuard is covered with concrete, giving the homeowner full use of the basement floor space. The walls were treated with Mold-X, then CleanSpace Wall was installed to keep moisture from entering the basement through the porous concrete walls. CleanSpace Wall is a 12-mil thick liner that forces moisture down the wall, draining right into WaterGuard to be drained then pumped away.
