Marshall Moisture Barrier Installation
Challenge
Homeowners in Marshall had repaired a leak in their laundry room but has since noticed the carpet felt damp and smelled of mildew. They called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for help. Jack inspected the crawl space helped the homeowners decide the best way to resolve the problem.
Solution
Daniel and his team prepped and graded the crawl space, removing debris and larger rocks as needed to smooth out the crawl space floor. The piers were wrapped with our 12-mil thick Wallie to prevent condensation while SilverGlo Vent Seals and SilverGlo Insulation Panels were installed to insulate the crawl space against outside air. The dimpled Drainage Matting was installed as a moisture barrier and thermal break. The addition of the EverLast CrawlSpace Door and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier has this home cleaner, drier, and healthier!
