Hot Springs National Park Wet Crawl Space Repair
Challenge
A father called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas concerned about standing water in his daughter's crawl space. He knew he needed a sump pump, but wasn't sure what else could be done. Craigen suggested the SmartSump Sump Pump, Ez Flow Drainage, Drainage Matting, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
Solution
Daniel and his team installed the SmartSump in the lowest point of the crawl space. After grading the dirt floor, they dug a trench to install the Ez Flow Drainage System. This system prevents water from entering the crawl space and drains it into the SmartSump. The vents were sealed with SilverGlo Vent Seals, and the dimpled Drainage Matting was installed as a vapor barrier. The team set up the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep humidity in the crawl space below 55%. Outside the crawl space, the SmartSump drains through IceGuard and then out and away from the home.
